Had a new to me 2016 phoenix 920 for about 2 weeks so far, and for the most part its lived up to the hype. My only complaint so far is that anytime I sit it down I have the feather it down or I will have water roll up all the way to my back. Never had this issue in my triton. I could go from WOT to stop in my triton and never had water come over the back. Do any of you guys in other brands experience this?

Not in a Skeeter.

My Basscat Pantera will do that. I usually time it, and goose it a little to stay ahead of the water.

No you chop the throttle and when the wake catches up to you give it a little throttle...Learn how to drive.

I can make it happen on the Skeeter FX, but can easily avoid it also.

That Phoenix sits a lot lower in the water than a triton also.

Only does it in my Nitro if I have a second person in the boat.

I've owned 3 Skeeters, 95 ZX185C, 03 ZX250, and 05 Zx225... if I went from running down the lake to completely off the throttle all 3 boats would have water come over the back, not a tidal wave or enough to get to me in the drivers seat but a decent amount of water. I've always feathered it down.
