So I am in the process of hiring about 30 sales reps around the country. I have multiple candidates from central PA. I am trying to hire candidates close to population centers and central Pa doesn't seem to be one. Do those folks generally go to NYC for work? NYC is closer than both Philly and Pittsburgh to central PA.
Thanks

There are no population centers in Pennsylvania once you go past a 10 mile radius from Philly or Pittsburgh.

I thought they were all corn farmers and furniture makers in Central PA. Gonna be a long commute in a horse-drawn buggy.

Please consult a map, from WIKI
"The Harrisburg-York-Lebanon, PA Combined Statistical Area is made up of six counties in south central Pennsylvania. As of the 2010 United States Census[8] the CSA had a population total of 1,219,422, and ranked 3rd most populous in the state of Pennsylvania, after Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and 43rd most populous in the United States."

Obvious answer: 1shot is Amish, so he should have some contacts.
Serious answer: there are a lot of small towns in central PA. Eagle is correct, Harrisburg-York-Lebanon (and Reading) area has a decent population.
Can you be more specific about which part of Central PA youre talking about? The middle of PA is a pretty big area. North East PA (NEPA) is closer to NY and is where people commute into NY.

Depends on what you're selling. Harrisburg and State College (seasonally) are big population centers in central Pa.
Your candidates might just be recent Penn State grads.

Diarrhea testing to non-hospital affiliated physicians Don't think I've never needed a test to determine I had Diarrhea.

That is true. Scranton-Wilkes Barre area and the Poconos experiencing an influx of New Yorkers who do commute to NYC according to some of my relatives still there. Binghamton NY is 45 minutes north of Scranton, New Jersey 1 hour east. I left the Pocono area in 1973.
