The fish are all in a big pile doing the nasty on my local lake. I went out two days ago and did pretty well with a finesse jig and weightless senko. I live in San Antonio and fish a lot of Central Texas lakes. I hope you get a chance to fish a couple days during Spring Break! Tight Lines!

I fish McQueeny near San Antonio and they are spawning. My step dad caught a 7lb’er with a bloody tail today.

While, I’m sure that’s true very, very few are spawning where I fish. Females don’t even look ready.

If you can't find em wind em.

Caught three off beds today, in the howling wind. Nothing giant. Biggest was around 7 pounds. But, for the lake I was on, 7 is pretty decent. The other two were around 5 and 6. Caught a few little bucks.

Nope, not in Lake Alan Henry, they are gathering for the prespawn, though, caut some NICE ones 4 to 6 lbs out of my neibors little lake of 30 acres. NOT sawing yet, but give it some time, and they will be.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

We caught about 40 bass in 2 hours of fishing, 12 on back to back to back casts. Big 5 probably went 24 or 25 lbs. NO bloddy tails, but that is not to be unexpected. Still a little cool today, supposed to get to 82 tomorrow and fish gagain tomorrow on our neighbors small lake of 30 acres is WONDERFULL FISHING. Big fish was 6 oh 3. 2nd biggest fish was 5 07, then a 5 04 and 2 heavy 4 lbers. Wecaught then for 2.50 hours before he had to leave. Had a GREAT trip. NO BLOODY TAILS YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
