It was a fun day! Congratulations to all! It’s hard to compete against guys catching 8 pounders, but we barely squeaked by with .09 lbs! We never had a big fish bite all day! Had one roll on my jig up shallow on Friday but only saw her head when she spit the jig out! The next moon phase is going to be lights out on that lake!! The fish are ready!

Congrats Ronnie to you and Capp on another victory. I knew we had come across a good area when we saw you and Capp back in that creek. We just spent too much time trying to get moving after being stuck in that shallow area for so long. Fun day anyway.

we went in that first bend and had 5 3-pounders in 10 minutes. it was nuts! he had 3 fish in the bottom of the boat trying to cull and I had a big one bend my rod over, go under the boat, pull around the trolling motor and pull off the hook. had a tree limb above me and confined space. Told Capp that one just pulled my panties down and spanked my bare arse!
Usually you can't get in that creek, but with the high water the fish were sitting in the first bend on wood.

Awesome job. That's crazy when you find them stacked in a small area like that.

Found lots of males shallow. Could not find the big girls. We pulled back. Went to deeper docks midway back in pockets. Tried points and brush piles. Could not buy a bite. Go back shallow and catch more little ones. Our live well was as Chris called it, "a sausage fest..." roflmao
