Moved to Arizona back in 2016, used to launch the kayak in the creeks off lake aquilla and eagle mountain to chase whites and crappie.

Heading back to them home state for my wedding reception and have some time to get away and fish beforehand and wanted to take my kayak out. Are the fish still in the creeks? I know theres been a lot of rain there lately, things may be swelled up.

I fished Aquilla below the dam a couple of weeks ago. Flow was marginal but the water was still much to cold. The fish were not in there. I even threw a cast net and caught nothing. Aquilla Lake was a little high at the time.

I don't go too fast but I go pretty far.

I'm not sure about those two locations but they are in the creeks for other DFW lakes. Might actually be ending if we don't get anymore rain soon.
