SMDH...

Baby mice
"Several baby mouselings were found in my car today. Two inches long, momma not
.available. I need to know what to do with these vulnerable living creatures. Hoping they'll just pass away in their sleep. They're only a few days old .. I cannot bring myself to drown them. Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated..."

Here are a few suggestions posted by others:

"I wonder if mama went out for food. If you put them outside maybe shell come back for them. I couldnt kill them either. Little Mickey and Minnies"

"Call the Humane Society. They can put you in touch with wild animal rescue. Or maybe the living science center at River Legacy Park could give you some ideas."

I like the way this person thinks:
"there are enough stray cats foxes and coyotes around to solve the problem the natural way..."

Best reply:
"I grew up on a farm and when we found babies in the horse stalls we always walked down to the pond and tossed them in, usually 8-10 at a time. You can't have them getting older. It stinks but there's no reasoning with those things. Their language skills are rarely developed enough to understand English." roflmao

roflmao Nextdoor "fur baby" drama. Unbelievable stuff. Reply telling them that a "dingo would probably love to eat them" and stand back for the fireworks. grin

Our area is changing and local fb and next door have turned into a mess. We have been a charity skeet shoot here for years and when the shooting started it got full on stupid. Yankees and Cali types should have to study and take a test on our laws and practices in our great state.

I think I'll post this pic and tell them I can solve the problem quickly and humanely.

I still think the one in my neighborhood who was trying to nurse back to health Adecco that she found and presumed had gotten too cold. There was a lot of advice on how to care for the nature baby as she was referring to it

Like really? It's a [censored] gecko. I smashed them with my shoe anytime I see one in the house. If they're outside there safe I don't go after them but they come in my house they're dead

I live in a retirement community of 7700 homes in the edge of the hill country. We have an extreme deer infestation and are currently trapping deer. Next door is really lighting up over this. Goal is 250 and have captured 195 at present. Iis laughable and sometimes sad to see some of the comments and misinformation that many olds come up with.
