As I said before. I've never been on it. Did you fish the old or new side and what was your weapon of choice?

CC It was closed for about a week due to high water and it is on the way back down now. We fished it Saturday for a bit (and did no good)in the morning before I left my prop embedded in a stump along with other pieces and parts of my motor. Both sides hold good fish and they both fish differently. The old side is more turbid and muddy than the new and even more so with the flooding. For the most part the old side is clear to run from Selma Park to the dam but anywhere you see visible trees be careful because there are still a few lurking under the water close by (I found a new one even though I fish there regularly). Temps were in the mid 50's in the few places we fished and we had a tap or two but no luck shallow. I personally like to fish the old side in that it doesn't appear to get as much pressure in some areas as the new. I generally fish Sticko's, Senkos or flip jigs to visible brush but that bite was not there Saturday.
