Sounds good Donald. Make it 3/8 or 1/2 oz.

That's exactly what I use on my custom bladed jigs. It is impossible to open one up once you install it. I dare say the blade itself would sheer between that and the hook eye of you ever had a heavy enough test line and equipment to test it. They are a real wife to get on though roflmao

Will do Jake! I think I owe Alex lunch anyways! thumb

I'm always down for lunch, but it should be the other way around on who gets the check. grin

I had an amazing battle with that 9.36 last weekend on the Thumper. She twisted, turned and pulled like a train. We got her in and went back to chunking. I know the Thumper is only a 1/3 of the price, but I don't sacrifice on any components to get there. I buy American-made snaps directly from the manufacturer. Going to try to test it out on something bigger than 9 tomorrow!

Good luck brother!

Shoot me a text early next week and let's put that lunch on the calendar. We can argue over who pays when the bill arrives. wink

Let Alex get lunch and then consider it on me. Ive bought enough of his thumpers the last two years, he can afford a lunch, lol.

The Zman Project Z is my favorite chatterbait. Check out the snap on it, it's built for big fish. Just an all around great chatterbait, hook, snap, skirt, everything.
And as a bonus it catches fish, I really like the Zako trailer on it.

Hard to believe they put a crappie snap on the Evergreen chatterbait.

I know!

I ordered some of the 70# Owner Hyper-wire snaps from TW just now. I hope I can get them thru the tiny little holes on the Jackhammer. The snaps that come on the Jackhammer are made by Decoy which is another Japanese company that is supposed to make premium components. ugh

the new chatterbaits have a nice tied wire on them. excellent upgrade from the snap! used them this weekend when we needed a more subtle vibration. tried Alex's thumpers, but they wouldn't bite them- too much vibration for the sissy fish on Cypress!
