Last year my wife & I were out on Aquilla & we happen to get into some whites over by the dam. She wanted to troll so I just let her fish bc it was very windy & I needed to control the boat. She caught 10 in prob 20 mins & we decided to stop so I didnt have to clean a bunch of fish on that day. She wants to go try again & I never thought about them running on Aquilla. Anyone ever got into the whites on Aquilla? We limited out on a boat of 5 on the N Bosque in 3 hours this past Sunday so I know its time. We are going Sunday morning regardless, just curious if any info out there.

I have caught them numerous times, I have never tried this early. I am crappie and catfish hunting this time of the year on Aquila. I have always had good luck around the humps and points. Just watch your graph as you drive around those spots and you will find the schools. I have also caught them feeding on surface over by the water intake.
