If you have 2700+ fishing days and you hit the timing right it's going to look like the fishing is better than it is. Conroe always has good sized fish. However it isn't a lake where you typically see a high percentage of 5 fish limits in tournaments. If TPWD could manage the grass fishing would be awesome.
