Main Fork/Clear Fork is the part that has the consumption ban, Elm Fork is blocked by the dams so different stretch of water.
Eric The Elm fork gets pretty close to the Trinity not far from the sewage control plant and the one low water dam really doesn't keep the fish from going north in high water conditions. Frazier does, been there during flooding. Elm Fork flows into the main fork but is blocked by Frazier dam. And the amount of potentially contaminated fish that would move up over even if it MAAAAAAAJOR FLOODED like a couple years ago is so low that other random contaminants are more of a threat....or lightning....or plane falling on you.... lol. I studies this stuff in college and have no issue recommending to others that they are good to eat them. Eric
