Now that y'all got this one figured out, I've got a 48" built in kitchen aide refrig at the deer lease that just stopped cooling on both sides. The fan is running and the coils are clean and not frozen. The digital temp read outs are working. Ok, go.

It sounds like the defrost timer. About $21.00 online.

Is the compressor running? Does it have a cap? Do you hear a hummm...CLICK...silence when it tries to start?

Salt Ice FTW. Any squid could tell you salt ice is cold.

Update -

I am still waiting for the part to arrive, so in the meantime, I decide to try a little more troubleshooting. I got down in the floor with my screwdriver and rotated the timer two complete revolutions. The freezer is at 20* and falling. It WAS the defrost timer! I'll change it when it arrives and get running the old fridge.
