How has the fishing been? I am looking to try out the lake for the first time and would like to know if there is anything to look out for? Also any info on colors etc may help hope to make a fun trip and catch a smally if possible.

Its clear water and produced some giant bags last year for Texas Team Trail. Also kicked out a 13.97 during that tournament.

My son and his buddy had about 30 fish out there last Friday. Not much for size, with 4# being the biggest. Sounded like the males were moving up to me. ITs a beautiful lake and one of the few places to catch Smallmouth in the area.

got 8-10 each day Saturday and Sunday. All small though. 4 # was biggest
