What dates are you planning on going to Amistad? There is a Champs tourney on the 24th. The lake will be pretty crowded from now until then with guys pre-fishing. Probably won't get a lot of info.

We had 60 bass this weekend out there on a jerkbait. Lost a 9lbs+ fish right at the net.

Going 3/10-15. Staying on Devils river, up North by Laguna Diablo Resort. Severe amateur, no tournament fisher here. Just looking to catch some fish and enjoy the view.

You are asking for information 2 weeks before the Bass Champs tournament and a Saturday BIG BASS event on 3-17.

I will be there the whole week "BEFORE" Bass Champs, so I asked for some info on colors and baits ---- kinda got the same reaction on another thread
if you are going AFTER my 5 days there PM me and I'll try to help you out
I am not a tournament guy so I don't care

No argument here when it comes to small bass at Amistad. My In-laws live down there and we go about once a month. I think my biggest there last year wasn't even 5#. Haven't been down there since December and probably wont make it there until next month either but a bunch of dinks can still make for a fun day.
