Ok. The last time I went was a year ago. I fished mainly points. Water was so clear I could see my worm on the bottom in 20 feet of water. I used red shad 6" worms and watermelon with chat. tails 6" lizards mostly. , caught them on everything I used in 5 to 20 feet of water. They were hungry... Loved it will go again someday.

I'm headed their just after the big rush 29 Mar - 1 Apr with my boys. It is always good to hear they are hungry. I just hope they are still hungry after the two big tournaments in March. Please keep us updated.

Saturday Mar 17 You may want to stay away from Diablo unless fishing the Big Bass event. Anticipating 300 plus boats..Going to be busy. If you have a guide trip that day fine if not don't know what to say. Kurt does run this event.

We are fishing Sunday thru Thursday ...... just like my post said hammer thumb
SUNDAY is the day AFTER the Saturday BIG Bass event put on by Kurt.
Since he will be our guide for the next 5 days after the event he should have some significant info on where the BIG fish are.
we anticipate being in Diablo during the week when nobody will be on the lake. Off-Limits to BC competitors, everyone else will be fished out. We should have the lake all to ourselves.

Ah Diablo ramp. Nothing like getting in your cardio workout walking up the ramp.
