Did you miss some today? I missed several...like they were short striking it. Had my best luck in Jones Branch.

Yes I had a ton of short strikes. Thats how I finally figured out I needed to slow down. I had to go to a white/chartreuse with a curly tail due to the dirty water color and reel as slow as I could. Caught plenty for supper and the weather was absolutely amazing today so it was a win for sure. I didnt try Jones Branch but most of the fish I caught were on the north bank. Water was 62-63 degrees when I left at noon. Cant believe how many of the reeds have been killed off since last summer.

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

If the lakes around here weren't flooded, there would be some fish up spawning already. Like I have said you just have to know where to look.
