After taking the better part of two weeks off due to the Cold, Wind, Rain and mostly just unfishable weather, Adam and I conducted eight trips this past week and only had one day we cancelled due to Wind. The Lake has rose over two feet, water is a bit stained and the water temp is around 52 degrees. The fish are still in the same timbered areas (Crab Creek) they have been all Winter and the bite was very good everyday. DK's Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble was our set up. The most unusual thing about last week was I fished the same tree everyday on my five trips, never moved but one time and had over 300 Keepers for my customers. All fish caught in 26'-30' FOW. Adam did much more moving around but had similar results. Mostly Eater Blues with a few Channels and a few Slot fish each trip! We have March Weekday openings and the Catfish should stay on this pattern most of the month!
