Tossed spinners and jigs into some fast running muddy water and into a tree. First lost lure this year. I had one hit and the reel seat on my rod broke losing me the fish. It ain't happening yet. At least not in my creeks.

I'm not going to say exactly where I was at but I was at a very well known spot. If there were any limits being caught there would have been plenty of people there catching them. I covered over 1.5 miles of creek and never even saw another person off in the distance much less in my immediate fishing area. Between 10-11am on a Saturday that's pretty much unheard of this time of year where I was at and it told me all I needed to know about the fishing.

Creek x is on fire but you have to walk way back in there and it was super crowded today. There were limits being caught left and right but the crowd made it unbearable. Went to another creek not far away and it was hot with no one else there. I'll keep that one too myself. Lol

There is no point in using a code name anymore.

The fish are definitely biting at pecan but the crowd and trash is crazy! I counted 20 cars on Friday. Heard there were 32 cars there yesterday and the home owners are getting fed up. Will be my last time there this year. Too many miles of untouched creeks/rivers to fish rather than deal with the crowd. Catch one or 2 fish and people are all over you to where you can't even cast.

^^^^^^yep^^^^^^^! Went to fish below a dam today... fish was kind of.. I didnt see a limit taken from 7am-11:30ish but some decent males few females and couple hybrids..only 1 keeper hybrid another guy next to me caught. I only caught 5.. very surprising tho everyone played nicely.. its that time I wait for all year! I will be hitting local creeks where I rarely see another fisherman..
