I love to draw those puzzled looks when I launch my 10 inch Huddleston (Gizzard Shad color) from other bass fishermen. Some people think big baits are a joke but I have caught 2 fish over 6 lbs. on it. I always get about 100 or so casts in before I also put it back down (which I feel like if I kept at it would maybe land more).
Do you have some big baits that come out to play? If so, what is your weapon of choice?

8" Hudds, 2 Roman Made (a negotiator and a trick), one of the big Bull Shads (I forget size) and a Hinkle Shad. I throw the negotiator the most. I'll probably throw it tomorrow about half the day.
I can backlash toilet paper.
