Going to get out on the water Saturday but not sure where to go. I got my butt kicked at Falcon last weekend so not sure I'll do that again, and I hear Amistad has been fishing tough. I don't mind grinding for a big bite but my girlfriend will be with me so I'd prefer to take her somewhere with a more consistent bite. Suggestions within 3 hours of San Antonio please and go..... Thanks in advance!

Not Canyon Lake. Haha.

Id go to Buchanan. I hear it is fishing really well right now. And you can see that if you look at the high school tourney results from this past weekend. Lake Travis is always good for numbers too.

I fished Canyon lake over the summer and it was really good. Just lots of dinks. Of course it was summer and we were night fishing but it can be a pretty good lake.
