Looking for an experienced carp fisherman that wouldn't mind taking me out and teaching me a few things... I am close to Lake Worth and Eagle Mountain lake. I have all the rods we would need, as I catfish and bass fish, but maybe not the right hooks or bait... We can either fish out of my 16 foot bass boat or my pontoon... I just want to experience the fight and bring that knowledge back and introduce it to my kids.
No response? Is carp fishing like fight club or something? lol... YouTube it is ...
I'd go with you, but I'm swamped w/ school & work and hardly have time to get out on the bank myself. Not to mention, I don't exactly fall under the title of "experienced carp fisherman." Everyone isn't always on the forum, so you might have to wait for someone who's willing to go in your area. That said, YouTube is an excellent place to start learning. I'd recommend Luke Nichols from Catfish and Carp: https://www.youtube.com/user/catfishandcarp
