I am looking at going there this weekend and have never been. I know the lake is full of trees in the 2 arms that I see on google earth and I suspect that there is a marked boat lane up each arm but not sure. Can anyone tell me about the main open part going to the dam area. Is that area open so that you can run the boat across or is it full of stumps as well. Any help on moving around the lake would be appreciated. Thanks

its open, but you cant run too much anywhere, size dictates that. I get on pad to the timber in both arms and across from the ramp to the dam, you can see the timber on each side from there. Watch out for floaters due to the rain.

Boat lane markers drift out of the lane. And the lanes are narrow in places. Floaters are a problem. Just be vigilant.
