I thought I would be the change I would like to see in the world, so I'll post a report.

Yesterday afternoon we went down to Reimers and between the two of us hooked up on about fifteen whites. So they're definitely there, even though the redbuds mostly haven't bloomed in Austin. We used white roadrunners predominantly. The river flowed low and muddy. I don't think anyone is trying to fish upstream of the boat launch.

The LMBs were pretty hot too. A guy farther downstream said he caught fifteen and took home a pretty hefty stringer.

My friend hooked up on something he swears was three feet long that broke him off. Possibly a buffalo or flathead maybe?
