Hey all, Any reviews on the Favorite Fishing Rods? I got a couple at Cabelas in Waco, the Lunkers and the AP Bassin models. I havent used them yet, but they look good!

Buddy has the Defender. It's actually a nice rod! But like said above, it's a YouTube marketed rod basically

My honest opinion is this. Was in Cabelas the other day myself and picked up a few. I think they feel like they are made cheap and don't feel very good in the hand like other rods. And very expensive for that. If I were gonna spend that kinda money, there are plenty of other rods way worth the money than those. Dobyns, Falcon, Power Tackle, Shimano, etc.

The Orange handle rod don't remember the model for $70 is actually a really nice rod. My friend has one and I looked it over really good and couldn't find anything wrong with it.

I saw them at Cabelas and picked a couple of them up and played with them in the store. I thought they were decent enough rods but didn't look at the price.

Well, as long as they look good, that's the important thing. That's funny right there. Not real sure why it being on you tube would be a reason to not use it. If that was the case, you may as well get rid of everything you have. I am not sure there is anything not promoted on you tube in some form. I have never seen one of these rods as I don't shop Cabelas but it cant be any worse than the Johnny Morris stuff.....or can it? I don't have a rod in my boat that cost over 125 dollars and haven't had any issues and they have worked for me.
