Yep. It's coming.
I can use my waypoints I made last timemthe lakes flooded. Many have been on stuff that is dry land lately. I agree, but I'm more worried about the lake flooding to the point that it will be shut down again. Hopefully I'm wrong Having a slip on the lake it was kinda nice when the lake shut down. Long walk to the boat but when we got out it was like having our own private lake. If it does happen again I may be open to taking you guys out on JP in trade for you secret spots

I love flippin bushes but gonna wait until it stops raining. Maybe Monday. Right now I'm hoping my house don't start floating away. I'm thinking about flippin around the kids playground at Rowlett Creek and Rte. 66, or that construction equipment under water on the south side.

I love flippin flooded bushes, problem is I flip them before they get flooded . I hate to change patterns so when they get flooded, I will probably continue to flip the ones that are high and dry.

I love flipping in the spring when it floods. I've caught many bass off of picnic tables and lawn furniture it's crazy. Your GPS trail shows you way up on the land. Your going over the walk way for the dock vs going around the dock.

Yep. I was on a BBQ grill and picnic table pattern on joe pool once. Honest. I was flippin outhouses on Lavon one time but turned out to not be a good pattern. Finally found'em around concrete picnic tables. Wished I'd had a Ultrex back then to keep the back end of my boat away from grills.

Had one of the ABSOLUTE BEST times last time flipping. It was close combat style. And caught some giants. This past week, I have zeroed 3 days out of 4. One bite on one of those days. And it was a dink. I think the water temps have to be warmer for them to move shallow into fresh flooded brush. Or sunny so they are looking for shady abush spots. Either way. It probably is NOT a winning pattern for the current conditions.

It probably is NOT a winning pattern for the current conditions. 10-4 on all this. I think the fish are like us in some ways. They like normalcy and a routine. We got rising and cold muddy water and the spawn trying to happen at the same time and the fish are confused and scattered like ducks in the desert. Trying to find a pattern is like trying to find a Kardashian in church. Next week is starting to look pretty good weather wise so maybe things will settle down and the fish will start doing what they're suppose to. The banks are fixin to get real crowded.

^^^Agree. Last time we had all the flooding it was a couple months later I believe. Ive only been on Benbrook and Whitney in the past week but both were still in the mid 40s. Those fish could get happy when the sun finally comes out on Sunday!
Steez, whats the water temp on Pool?

Depends on the lake. If rayburn makes a big jump into the bushes and trees the fish always go up too. Regardless of water temp or time of year

Steez, whats the water temp on Pool? I haven't been on Pool lately. I'm going tomorrow though...I'll report back.
