Due to severe weather forecasts for the Lake Fork Area tomorrow
that include high winds, large hail, and possible tornados,
this event has been delayed one day and will take place this Sunday. (2/25/2018)
The lake will remain off-limits until Sunday

Good call for the safety of the anglers, but poor choice to move which day of the week. This really sucks for I know of 5 Teams of us that already have another tournament scheduled on Sunday.... In which we've already had our 1st event, for me I'll have to choose, between champs or trying to maintain my spot close to the top for angler of the year in our other tournament...
This event has always been on Saturday's, maybe it should be rescheduled for June or July on a Saturday..... or even next Saturday....

yea.. rescheduling to later in the year would have been a better decision, but happy they rescheduled it regardless. They will have more people fishing it now than they would have if they left it on Saturday .. I know they have their other regions scheduled to like July... that is why they can't just do next weekend..

It is all fine with us and appreciate Champs for not making my whimpy partner get out in this. He will now be a happy Camper. A move like this will never be able to please everyone, but it is really the right decision.

couldn't agree less... there are many more folks who would be inconvenienced by moving to another date. Most who planned to fish Saturday will appreciate the one day move. Basschamps has 4 divisions so simply moving it to another date isn't that simple.

I would agree, but July(except the 4th weekend) and August seem to be completely open as far as other divisions. Keep it on a Saturday...
Just wished I wasn't feeling screwed on either choice I make.

Fish our other team event which we are in 3rd for aoy(I know its only been 1 event) but if you miss 1 you're out for sure, so why waste time there? Also already paid memberships fees here though.
