what is a good price for hydraulic steering with a tilt wheel on a 225hp bass boat installed

I would guess installed meaning taking out a cable steering system and installing a Uflex or Seastar system should run around 1500 dollars.
The steering system alone would cost 1000 to 1150. Go with Uflex.
If you can change your water pump in your car you are capable of doing it yourself.

Install it yourself.....lots of utube videos......just the unit runs 1 k .... I have 0 wrench skill and i managed to do it......

I had it done to my older basscat and it ran me around $1,100.

I found a new in box kit (from a private seller) for 800 once, installed myself. Thought that was a good deal.
