Ray was a good guy.
I called him a few times with fishing questions and he was more than patient with me answering them.
I once emailed him and asked him what he thought of bass fishing in Mexico and he gave me a very well informed and unbiased opinion.
I used to keep some of his DMN articles in a someday I want to go there pile.

I filmed several TV shows with Ray over the years. Also provided insight to his articles. He was a great ambassador to our sport and he will be missed.
