Most of the big fish I am catching lately have already spawned. Definitely entering post spawn conditions in East Texas.

Lmao. These threads are great and happen every year in February. Almost as bad as the hunting forum where people start talking about the rut during bow season

TTZ on RR will be won bed fishing next weekend.

Millions of gallons of 33 degree water surely won't knock that back any since the days are getting longer and it will be full moon.

As OP has stated his home lake is Lewisville as is mine. He is 100% right that those bass in that lake are still on full-blown winter mode. They aren't even showing pre-spawn patterns. Not sure what this weather will do to them either.

Interesting! Ill keep an eye on that since RR is my #2 lake. Its my understanding that it is much slower to warm than many surrounding lakes so length of days must play a crucial role if the TTZ tourney is to be won on beds.

If you can't find em wind em.

You guys crack me up if you think its solely just water temp that sets off the spawn.

Feb 11 there was 11hours and 11 mins of daylight.

March 26, when we will see the bulk of the fish moving up there will be 12 hours and 21 mins of daylight. Almost 11% longer day.

Water temps matter some, but the lake could be 68 for the month of January and fish wouldnt even be thinking of the spawn

Truly was meant as a joke. An avid bass angler already knows what the Big Girls are doing and they do not have to rely on the internet mis-information. LOL roflmao roflmao roflmao

The power plant fish didn't get your "length of day" memo. They spawned back in January.
