I woke up this morning to thunderstorms rumbling. I took my daughter to school, chatted with the wife, grabbed my waders, and took off to the creek. The clouds were looking pretty serious on the way to the fishing hole. I started off another slam, hahaha, with a largemouth. I moved on down to the crappie hole and picked up 3. Okay, now it’s off to the sandbass hole. First cast, I layed down about 15 feet and wham! It almost jerked the rod out of my hand. From that point on, it stormed the rest of the day. I actually put my rod on the ground several times because the lightning was so close. It was a good day!
