The only way such speeds could be attained is with hydrofoils.

Or, an outboard! I don't know but I doubt they put much more thought into it than other kayak makers who play rather loose with various performance metrics.

I can't imagine anyone, or any two, sitting in that vessel and going almost 13 MPH.

I think we'll likely see some more Blue Sky metrics in the next few days. Sooner or later, likely later, someone will sort of dial in the speed of the thing for better comparison to other small watercraft.

I'll report back if and when I see it!
