I've heard the same thing about Allison boats. Light but they get holes in them.
Odd thing is you ask that of anyone who's owned one and they've all heard it too, just never seen it.

Ok, we have a 250XS 20 foot Bullet and Stroker on board now. What will your Stroker do top end and what will your Bullet?

I know what my little thing will do with 250 hp but I don't want to muddle up the waters. Mine is not as stable as either of those two.

For the record Im not bashing on Bullets.

I really want a 20'er with a 250 and the smallest jackplate I can get. The only thing im concerned about is the wind blowing it around and being unstable while fishing.

Never owned a Bullet, Stroker, Allison or Phoenix but I crawled all over a Phoenix at Fun N Sun and as soon as my ship comes in I'll have me one. Didn't find one thing I didn't like. Really like the fact the trailer had shocks. C'mon ship. May need one if the rain don't stop. lol.

I'm more of a eyra guy if I want a go fast. Maybe a cougar ftd. Leave the poles off for a couple mpg and add a 80# ultrex.

It really depends on how you want to set your boat up and how much money and time you spend finding out what your boat likes.

My Stroker just turned 17 years old last month. It has no stress cracks or hull issues of any type. I carry about 12 rods and a lot of tackle and still have storage available so that is not an issue with a Stroker. As far as speed it will run 96 loaded at 2500 ft elevation. Handles rough water as well as any bass boat. I fish Amistad a lot in all conditions with no real problems but I have about 45 years of boating experience.
My best friend has a 21 ft Bullet about 8 years old and it to has no issues. The storage is a little better than the Stroker but it is slower. It handles rough water great. When I fish with him I notice no issues with the boat blowing around more than any other bass boat. ( I have owned more than twenty of all major brands) The rear deck area is good to fish from and the front deck is large enough for two. I think that I would buy a dual console Bullet if you fish with a wife or partner. It is a little exposed without the console at speed.
I don't think that Chub is currently building Strokers at this time.
I see no negatives with the Bullet and the only negative with the Phoenix would be the lack of speed compared to a Bullet. Of course you could always go with an Allison for max quality and speed.

I figure it wasn't even in the running on this thread until you brought it up, so I get a pass on my opinion. I get that BC makes a quality rig, has great cs, and can run- but then I'd have to look at it every day. Just too many things not pleasing to the eye for me on every one I've ever seen. I got over the stripes under the bow on my Phoenix pretty quick because the rest of her is sexy.

I have an Allison and am in awe of the quality, innovation, and performance......but, my favorite boat of all times was a Bullet 20XD with a 225 ProMax. Just a great fishing boat. Well built, great performance, and gorgeous. Loved that boat.

I fish with a guide on fork you runs the bullet. The boat rode much better then I would have guessed. I thought the light boat would make it rough but it is not. The 21'10" boat rode well. The boat is light on the front end but with PP and the ultex that should come into play near as much on any boat as it use to. You won't have to fight the wind near as much. Yes it won't run has fast with these options but it will still be a mid 80's boat with these options.

I would still pick the 921 over the boat but the distance between those boats are not what they use to be with the options we have now to hold our boats in place in the wind. I just like the ride and the way a 921 fishes.

Phoenix over the Bullet but they are both great boats. After witnessing all of the problems a buddy of mine had with his Stroker hull they would be way down at the bottom of my list.
