To hate is equivalent to wanting to seriously hurt or kill someone IMO.
I can hold someone in disdain without wishing harm on them. I can vehemently disagree with someone's opinion and actually like or respect them. I don't think a truly hate anyone while I love some unequivocally. On the TFF OT I don't know most of the folks and hold them in neutral esteem. Some people on here I really like their posting and think I would like and respect them in person. Some people I see as drama queens, or trolling for a certain response and thus I see as having corrupt characters.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Hate is such a strong word and I dont use it or allow it in my house a lot. On the other hand, Love is a very strong word and I welcome it all the time in my house. They are the highest/lowest of the feelings and beliefs. Do not speak of them unless you know them true.
I have and currently love, and I have hated. I prefer love and believe they can keep a normal person balanced.

I have both. I also got tattooed love and hate on my chest in Japanese but experts have translated it to monk love. Who knows... Well, its also in Chinese, and not Japanese, so theres that. That would explain why he can only read it with his top down. It is Chinese. And does say "love" & "hate". My communist Chinese friend translated. She did say monk and hate are close. And depending on the angle someone might misinterpret it.

I think many of us have been sheltered from things that cause true hatred, unless you have had a loved one taken away, or had a traumatic experience caused directly by another. Many of us use disdain, or loathing in place of true hatred. We may hate Philly, or hate cats, but we may not spite them with a tornado or kill them at will.

I recently read a good Buddhist philosophy book which delves into this. It is titled "The Power of Now". One of the better books I have read. Especially if you like challenging reads that make you think.

If you cannot hate, you cannot truly love. Uncle Zeek gets what Im saying Yeah, I grok it. Of course, to understand the concept, one has to know what love is. If you can't define a word, then you don't really know what it means. Love is a subjective condition where the happiness and well-being of another person is essential to your own happiness and well-being.

If you really want to know...
I was thinking about the people that were hating on me for not agreeing with their fabricated bible stories. Perhaps "the people that were hating on you" were not doing so because you do not agree with them, but because you use words like "fabricated" when you do so?

I was thinking about the people that were hating on me for not agreeing with their fabricated bible stories. Or mayby because of DB answers- You are trying to irritate the wrong guy. I dont get offended by much But isn't this entire post because your offended because you believe people are hating on you because of your disbelieve in bible stories?
