I'll give a shameless plug for the new Courtney Patton album that was released today. Courtney is my cousin so I am biased of course but if you like traditional country music you should give it a listen. She is a DFW native and now lives with her husband Jason Eady (also a very talented musician) in Stephenville. At one point today the record was #4 on the iTunes most downloaded country records.

Saw her play at Bumbershoot in Argyle. Had no idea who she was we just happened to be there and she was really good. I dont like many female performers but was really impressed. So much so that I looked her up and knew she was married to Jason Eady. Shes really talented and was very nice.

For Spotify users. There are two of her albums there. I'll wait until Rue wakes up to give it a listen. She loves her some female country singers. For a kid without a voice. She tries like hail to sing along to her country music. If she likes it she will "sing" along. If she don't I get WTH looks until I change it.
