Stars quickly learn their limitations when trying to sing the National Anthem. It’s not an easy piece. They better have their stuff together beforehand.

98% of them are bad to worse. They try to make it a melismatic, improvisational exercise for which it was unintended. Just sing the thing in its original form and get it over with. The trumpet player for the Dallas Cowboys does it right.
