The United States has MORE mental health professionals, MORE sources to assist the mentally disabled, MORE protocols in place to identify people with mental health problems, spend MORE money on treating mental health issues, THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY similar to us.
Yet, those other countries don't have any where near the number of mass shootings that the United States does.
So if you think mental health is the issue, have at it.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^ He has a point. There are billions spent on mental health each year.

Anyone that has ever filled out a 4473 knows that there is a mental health question on there that can prevent you from being able to buy a firearm.

Speaking from a LEO perspective and from my wife being a Registered Nurse, there is help out there. She works at Parkland. You have to want the help though.

I've always liked the "do you feel safe at home" question asked during a routine doctors office visit.
I've had lots of fun with the staff answering this one. Youre the same guy that lists 911 as their emergency contact number

So a person passed your Mental Evaluation when they purchased their gun, and stopped living and developing. Mental conditions that cause people to do odd things change over time. So would be ineffective as a tool to eliminate mass killings.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Hope this stays civil so it doesn't end up in bunker. It has nothing to do with civil. When threads turn in to a political debate, they are moved to The Bunker.

I think if people saw something and said something it would go a long way. For instance, lets say this kid was acting irrationally and posting crazy s on the internet and someone reported them to the FBI. They would investigate and possibly prevent this sort of thing. People need to speak up and trust our law enforcement agencies to handle up.
