Hey yall looking for any advice chasing smallies on texoma? I have never caught one and am dying to put in in the boat. I might have 3 days off next week so if weather permits Ill haul the boat from fortworth to the big pond. I have never been on texoma. So I know that lake turns over pretty good when the wind blows.I dont mind fishing in the rain just dont wanna get out there with winds. So which wind directions to avoid? I dont tournament fish I fish for fun if that helps! Like I said really wanna get on some smallies and will probally chase some striper too! Any advice about the lake or where to start the search is greatly appreciated!

Same baits (as well as a jerkbait) on the rocks in Eisenhower across from the fishing dock. The second cove up lake from the marina.

Man, throw your Cali stuff, unless you're one of those 10 inch swimbait guys. Would probably do really well on the smallies.

Water is cold and clear by the dam. Smallmouth are best around the dam but could be difficult in the wind. Threw a crank bait down the dam for about 1.5hrs without a bite. Fishing should get better though as it warms.

It will be coming with but for big striper! Ya I have some Cali gear that I would think will tear em up!
