I bought and older boat with the oiler removed. The guy said he has been premixing the fuel for years. How are you guys doing this? I have no idea how big the tank is. Think I should just 5 gal at a time? He said he would always just put 6 gallons of gas in it with proper amount of oil and go fishing. Motor is a 94 Mariner 150. By the way this is my first "real" bass boat Progator 178V, my last boat was a 02 Tracker with a 50 on it that had the oil tank on the was easy keep it full of oil and go. Previous owner said he has always ran 50:1 ratio

That’s what I did. Always had a stash of merc oil in the boat. Each bottle treats 6 gallons of gas. Little tricky if you want to fill up but it’s ok to run it a little rich.
