Great picture but it made me shutter a little. That is the field where my son shattered his face and ended his baseball career.

That also has a steep hill where you are standing so make sure you're uphill so you don't look so short next to your son. I had to learn all the same tricks (curbs are your friend) because my son has me by three inches.

Looked like he had a decent outing and just thankful that he was able to come back from the injury and pitch again. I remember him sitting in the recliner after the surgery so he has come a long way. Tell him to work hard and strive to make each outing better than the last.

All you have to do is hop in. it looks like that boy of yours would slow me down about 5mph though lol. And I have ulterior motives, a good friend of mine is head coach at Connor State, he needs another pitcher.

Haha.....he may be taller, but I weigh more! Didn't mean to bring up any bad mojo, BlueNitro, cause you know and we know your son had a great and very successful college baseball career. Field was a good, but stands left some to be desired...kinda unique to say the least!

I hope that was a curve ball or the batter started ducking a milli-second after that picture was snapped. Looks like it was high and tight which is my favorite pitch. Establish that it is your plate and ain't scared to bounce one off the helmet if needed.

I sure will. That pitch was a curve ball that froze the kid for called third strike, even in the nice 65 degree day, haha!

Gonna brag one more time....the kid has now had 3 appearances, and each one gets better. Yesterday, he had his first career save at the collegiate level. ERA is now 1.42. Coach is starting to get confidence in him and I see him getting a bunch more opportunities. The team is 7-5, but I believe we will be a force to be reckoned with by the end of the year....we'll see! He was slated to pitch yesterday, but Saturday night there were seven stupid kids that got suspended for getting caught drinking a beer in the hotel lobby, and that changed Sunday's lineups. My wife has a business dinner she has to attend tonight so we had to come home. I get to miss his first start. Best I get to do is listen to it on live radio broadcast.
