I would�ve found a way to slip the kid a couple of Benadryl and then emptied my bank account on booze.

I was looking for something like autism, my son has Aspergers, but what i saw was a need for corrective discipline.

When a child screams like that I have a kneejerk reaction to slap him. I fight it.

For this reason alone I try my hardest to limit my public interaction at certain places

Let us say you are on a flight, and a kid is screaming non-stop, and even though they try, and they too want a peaceful flight, what can another passenger do?

Well, if you have something to possibly help "distract" the kid from the screaming, check with the parents and see if they are cool with it...you know, like giving him/her candy, an object to is interesting, whatever. Outside of that, you cannot interject yourself into the situation on your own.

If it persists, complain to the stewardess, but I'm surmise they already know. If it's so loud and unruly, I'd surmise it's up to the pilot to possibly land the plane somewhere and ask the parents to leave the plane.

Here's something to consider. If an adult were behaving like this on a plane, what would the outcome likely be?

A screaming child is one thing, but being that physically out-of-control warrants restraint in an in-flight commercial airliner.

I couldn't have kept my mouth shut. They need to hook the whole plane up with free drinks for the duration of the flight.
