The Hyundai Santa Fe and Toyota 4Runner would be two good ones to compare.

Almost 200k. It's an '02 Accent we bought new. Her very reliable 16 year old daily driver. It's a stick shift too. She can drive anything but is afraid of my F250. Didn't stop her from driving us home in it(500 miles) when I needed her to.

If the Hyundai has worked for her as far as the reliability, why not go back. But, I haven't looked at the specs but do they have something that fits your towing wishes?

Yeah, either of their top line SUV's would get close enough I think. Really looking for some actual owners to respond.

I was in the market for a new car a few months ago and read a lot of great reviews on the new Hyundai. Never test drove one but according to the reviews they are one of the most dependable.

Have a ford escape. My wife daily drives it, it has been a good reliable low cost vehicle for us. It is available in 4x4 and with the 2.0 ecoboost would pull what your asking with ease. Personally never owned an ecoboost but the people I know that have them haven't had any problems.

My wife got a Honda CRV AWD (loaded) and loves it, all the way down to the heated leather seats. Very nice vehicle and known for their reliability.

We are on our second kia sportage. Nice car. Ours is a 2014 4 cyl 186hp. Will tow up to our 2000 lb tent trailer. They are owned by Hyundai. Next model up is the sorento. We really like the sport age.
