My cousin and his wife are driving their crazy big 44 foot motor home to Fork around the Basschamps tourney and will stay for a couple weeks. Usually we launch around the 2946 bridge. Last year he parked at Athens and drove to Fork every day because the Athens campground is very nice. Any ideas where the best place would be near Fork? Priorities 1. Safety 2. Cleanliness 3. Ease of getting big motor home in and out. 4. Close to big bass 5. Availability Cost is not the problem. Will gladly pay more to stay in top notch place. Last year we got a 9lb 10oz lunker right before the tourney. Looking for that DD!!!!

Hideaway Harbor in Little Caney. Great RV spots. Great ramps. Lots of good fishing very close by. http://www.hideawayharbor.com/
You are not a good or nice person.

Thanks all for your help. Think I have him convinced to stay in Fork area this year.
Sounds like Fork has lots of nice RV areas to offer.

Fork West RV on the Southwest end of 2946 has about 4-5 slots available right now. It is gated after dark very clean. With boat ramp. Lake Fork marina is the last place you would want to be. Get's very crowded in there during Champs. I am NOT affiliated with West, it is just that I was in there Saturday and looked very nice and roomy.

I live right by there, it is nice, Bob the owner is a watch dog too. Not much iffy activity gets by him, very clean great location.. Used to be Val's Landing in yrs past. If you launch at 2946 you know...

I like the Fork West location best. We looked last year and my cousin thought it may be too tight to get in and out of with a 44 footer. Will see if my cousin will call Bob and maybe switch.
I agree about LFM. It is very nice to stay there from a tourney convenience standpoint but was too crowded for a monster RV.
Bassing is starting to heat up a Fork. A couple friends already got some monsters!
