Need some help on sizing and dimensions for a boat garage for a new house build? I should be in a new 21ft boat by the summer but wanted to get some ideas on height and width as well as sizing of garage doors to fit with 8ft power poles? Any pictures would be awesome. Looking at putting a bench and possibly a peg board tackle room/ work area as well. Thanks

A 21ft bass boat is going to take 24 ft of depth or use all floor space of a standard 2 car garage if you angle it.

I would figure out which boat you plan to buy and then design your garage and most importantly the drive way access from there. I can back my trailer into the garage but have to use my JD tractor to pull it out as it's to tight of a turn for the truck without going into the yard.

I have a new 20ft Skeeter in a 25x36 wide custom garage. I went with a 18 ft x 9 ft door to better allow access for the boat and my F150 inside. My power poles easily clear the door height. I have a tackle bench and 25+ rod storage along the wall next the my boat.

My last house had a 32 foot deep garage and I didn't have to do anything once I was backed in. You could walk all of the way around it, and I have a Ranger Z521.

I built mine with 8 foot tall doors and I didn't have to lower the power pole to get it and could get in with the engine all the way up on the hydraulic jack plate. The tall doors was probably better than the length. It was nice not having to get out and mess with the engine or the poles.

I also had (1) 18' wide and (1) 10' wide garage doors.

It is also a nice thing to be able to pull straight through a garage and unhook without having to back it in.

32 feet. I had a 21 and have a 30 garage. It took ever bit of the room . I would have to let the motor down to walk behind it.
Build it 40 if you have the room and the money.
