Alright guys I need some ideas on different ways to cook crappie, bass, white bass and catfish. I already do po boys and frying them. Gonna give a shot at blackened this weekend but looking for other ways to change it up. Not looking for personal recipes unless you're willing to share which is appreciated but links to recipes are just as good. Thanks!

I like fish cakes. Small diced fish, egg, panko, mustard, mayo, cayenne, usually some cilantro. Fry it up like a crab cake

There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish

just like cakes, but roll into balls, and also taco's with purple cabbage and chuey's sauce. fry the fish in strips for taco's.

Get you some Zatarain's Blackened Seasoning. I use it for grilling fish and it is very good. I use butter and make sure you don't overcook the fish, it gets ready pretty quickly with the thinner crappie fillets. Its also a good seasoning if using grilled fish for fish tacos.

The above is good with any mild fish. Easy, everyone at my house likes this.

We make a lot of fish tacos. Catfish definitely works. We pan fry in Panko. Warm corn tortillas, some shredded cabbage, a little cilantro and green onion. Cabbage or slaw can be dressed with a chipotle mayo or sesame ginger dressing.

Lots of recipes on fish tacos. Some get overly complicated. Fish tacos makes a little fish go a long way.

The above is good and not fried. Works with different mild fish.
