Seems like if they will eat a crankbait in a creek he is going to do good. The man has had a hell of a career..

He has gambled on one area and it has paid off. Pretty cool.

He better hope they bite there one more morning. He doesn't have a lot else working. Three guys are within 5 1/2# of him. That's a lot on this lake if he catches 10#.

Completely off topic, but do you have any other pics of your Bass Cat? That is the gnarliest color scheme I have seen on one.

I will agree with Ronnie on hoping the rain does not wipe his area out. The crankbait he is using looks a lot like a rapala .

Classic champ, love this guy. Hope he pulls it out!!

Read a lot about him, came here, knew no one, slept in his truck, no english, but man he wanted to win....and he did.

HE is in that same creek fork again, with an 8-9lb lead at 54-54 lbs. Looks like that spots going to hold up for him, dont see any hogs being caught today. Mendez is in 2nd with 45 or so

Let's Go Tak !!! Nice guy, met him at the Bass Pro in Garland a few years back. He knows how to win, and I agree, I think he holds on and wins today. His story is inspirational.

Anyone have a picture of that one? I have a bunch of his cranks. All brand new bought them at bass pro in the discount center when they switched to newest style
