Just the way it is on the spool. Not on the spool smooth like other spoils of sea gust that I have purchased. Usually buy from tackle warehouse. Their prices have gone up quite a bit on seaguar invizx so I tried monster tackle.

Their rep told me they are not level winding bulk spools anymore. I didn't get clarity on whether it was certain lb. test or all moving forward. My last shipment had 12 lb. level wound but the 20 lb. wasn't. He said they found no difference in performance or durability between being level wound or not.

The 3000 yard spools I know are not.

the last 6 or so 1000yd spools i have purchsed were NOT level wound even though the sticker on the spool advertised it was. i bough them from 3 different reputable retailers and all were the same.
not level wound but they increased the prices TWICE in the last few years! i want to try sunline but cannot get over their sticker prices.

Thanks for the info. I purchased two 1000 yrd spools of 12 lb invizx at Monster tackle for 79.00 each. Tackle warehouse wants 99.00 for the same 12 lb spools.
