Company acquisitions are always interesting and seldom beneficial to the consumer. The quality can go either way and it's usually in favor of the buyer looking to eliminate competition or merely to lower production costs at the expense of quality.
I'm still waiting to see the end result of the Sea Ark/Correct Craft merger. My dealer claims there is no change, but the marriage is still young. Just glad I bought mine when I did.
Another one that will be interesting to watch is the acquisition of Ranger by Tracker, but that will be another story for another thread.
