Trying to find some motion sensor alarms for my rod lockers.
Just want something to make a terrible noise if the lid is open.
No need for key fobs or anything complicated.
Hoping something at Lowes or Best Buy might work.

I can't remember if it has an alarm built into the lock...but I still have my Loc R Bar from last year's boat if you're interested. You'd have to buy the inserts that mount into the hull though.

Harbor Freight has the inexpensive stick on ones. And they do work. 2 to a package, thin with adhesive to stick under rod lockers. Less than $10. I don't see them on the website but I got mine in the store.

Wouldn't be that hard to hook 3 pressure switches to your front deck then wire it to your horn.

Walmart sells a cheap motion alarm that works well. Battery operated and you can use it almost anywhere. I used it for my 5th wheel trailer then used it for my mother in law when she would wander outside in the middle of the night. Cost is about $13. Click

The only difference between a little girls scream and a warrior's battle cry is the direction your'e running!

Suns not up yet. You are in the PERFECT spot. You open a rod locker to get out the rod and all hell breaks loose! DOH! forgot to turn off the rod locker alarm.

I had the permanent sensors in each lockers mounted on my old boat and it kept draining my battery.

Prepare for the future-it will be here tomorrow. Personal Best Large Mouth Bass 9 lbs. 12 oz 5/13/19. Herb Stein, who famously reminded us that “if something can’t go on forever, it will stop.”
