Are shad as effective after being frozen? Any special freezing technique?

I work on the other side of Plano but would like to be able to take you up on this offer at some point.

Has to be fresh... outfishes frozen 10 to 1.

Also they are only really "fresh" for a few days after coming out of the creek. Older than that might as well be frozen and your back to that 10 to 1.

What if thy are frozen but only 2 days old?
