I'll probably go Saturday. Anyone know the current lake conditions? H2O temps on the north end would be appreciated. TIA.

Went last Sunday. Fishing was tough. We only put two in the boat. Water was about 47 mainlake.
I hate photobucket.

Went last Sunday. Fishing was tough. We only put two in the boat. Water was about 47 mainlake. You caught 2 more than I did. I fished hard all day and never got anything that could've been mistaken for a bite, until just before dark when I hung one at the 377 riprap in Buck. I barely saw the fish before it came unbuttoned, but it was pretty good size. I'm not even sure it was a bass by the way it was fighting. Weather was cold and windy all day. Water temps 47-48 from buck to the 922 bridge in isle dubois.

It's tough going from fishing Welsh a week ago to RR yesterday. From feast to famine.

Used to fish the heck out of that lake when we lived in DFW. Water was always clear and not a lot of vegetation. I did well on crappie and sand bass using a little George or H&H (old school I know) down deep over brush. Must have been 15' of water in the early spring.
The best luck I had there was wade fishing some flats near isle de boise (spelling) state park. Same method as above.
